Male Power
i do think back
to how i have behaved
and the notion
of male power
it rests heavily upon my conscience
and it is there,
apparent,
hard to miss
there are always changes in society
that feel like seismic shifts
but we do need that change
the struggle for equality
the hope,
that social justice will flower
has, in reality
always being about power
and how that power is used
so i do think back
about how i, as a person, used to choose
and i think about the things i did
the head of male power
has never really hid
change has put in a planning application
and we must support the bid
