Separation Anxiety
i think you grieve for what you feel
you never had
a remote island of a mum
a breakdown truck of a dad
and all that trauma
has not being resolved amicably
wounded as you are
by separation anxiety
i think you grieve for a life
that should have been so much more
an unattached mum
an unhinged dad
one who painted your life
in so many colours of sad
and i think you grieve more
as you get older and you look back
