Waiting
i will be just here
you may think i am ugly
as a person i mean
i mean, i know this face,
it does not fit
but here i sit
you may think i am beautiful
as a person i mean
i mean, i know i am not perfect
but even foolishness –
it has a certain charm
i am not a reject
i just have strange arms
i will just wait by the door
you may think i am a loser
but i feel like i am a winner
who is getting closer
and a sinner,
who has a nose for this sort of thing
your impression of me
should reflect upon you as a human being
