Where Does it Go?
i do not know,
where all that hurt –
that you caused,
where exactly it goes
i just do not know
where it goes
perhaps it travels –
down through my being
only to end up –
filling up my toes
leaving me to shiver
without a duvet or throw
and i think about –
your callous disregard –
for other peoples feelings
your callous disregard –
leaves us all lost for meaning
i wonder when it became fine
to be so inhuman
i do not know,
how much you have experienced
i do not know,
where all the hurt –
you caused,
where exactly it goes
i just do not know
