Seems Stranger Now
seems stranger these days
i keep on running towards something
but it seems stranger these days
in no longer seems to mean anything
and I can lie no longer
i have got to get back home
and I’ve got to be stronger
it is nothing like I have ever known
seems like I’m growing weird
seems like I’m forever hurting
seems like there were too many tears
not enough things working
but I can always be alright
especially when I am writing
whatever it is I do
whether it be a poem for me
or a letter for you
do not put me down,
i am doing very well
i hope you understand
It is not my fault you’re still living hell
that barren land
seems stranger now
can’t even see my fate when I look at my hand
