At The End of The Day – Written Sunday 5th March 1995 (Aged 20)

At End of The Day

just try and be yourself
at the end of the day
and as selfish as that might seem
you have got to –
make sure you are alright
you cannot live –
on others peoples dreams
somehow you have go to –
make things okay
because when you sit down –
and when you think
you only have yourself –
at the end of the day
i know, it is easy to say
i know, tell me all about it
do not shed tears for yesterday
just for those who caused the pain
and soon,
you will learn to live again
just make sure you are okay
when it comes to the end of the day
