Night Time’s So Alone
So much to say,
so much to do —
drawing pictures of you.
I used to be me,
and to be me
used to be something new.
Now I am older,
I feel shot through
and so much colder.
Let’s get out of here,
let’s pack up and leave.
I have been pushed so far,
and I am starting not to believe.
I feel for you
for when you are down,
and I do not know what to do.
I hope it helps
just having me around.
