Positive
I can really move somewhere else —
if you knew how much I cared,
it makes me scared.
Sun streaks across the daytime sky
like a shooting star in the blackest night.
She always moves you
from the deepest emotions you have ever felt.
She makes you feel good,
and as the nightmares melt
you hold her hand and walk away
from the wildest wind.
I am going to be the most special friend
you ever want.
Lovely life rolls by on the downs.
I am doing my act as a joker —
would you supply the clowns?
Looking around, I think they are already near.
I am too used to losing my mind
and having my heart paralysed by fear.
If only you could come here,
I would think about it all going so well —
a little blue with a dash of black.
Life just goes on,
but remember that a new dawn
arrives with every rise of the sun.
