Reflections of You
looking out, across the hills
across your life
things may be wrong or they may be right
feeling like you need someone else
when it is only yourself
wasting time, sitting around and thinking
eating, living, drinking
getting out to meet friends
saying goodbye at the end
giving someone your hand
showing them a little trust
then you get broken and bust
looking out at the faces of a mage
magic and witchcraft
it has become all too fashionable in this day and age
being fashionable has become an art
for the lost and the unsure
they can always play a different part
looking out at the clouds rolling by
seeing a magic lady pushing a baby
at what age did her childhood die?
at what age did she start to wonder why?
looking out across the sea
sometimes i seem to be drowning
when i look at reflections of me
i wonder what i can do
but i am so lucky as i look because –
i always see reflections of you
