All Things To All People
i try, i try to be everything
and again, find myself
having to recognise
accept and deal with faults
often before they will –
admit them to themselves
i try, i try to find myself
looking for a lot of patience
at the same time taking –
a mountain load of tasks
it is not wonder,
i wear so many masks
but will the laughter lines –
eventually run dry
replaced by the ever flowing –
tears from very tired eyes
