Even More Sure
your guess is as good as mine
so come and play with the traffic –
rushing through my mind
please…
do not push me away
i only came out to get some fresh air
and when i came upstairs i saw you there
your life is strange
but you wear your smile well
as well as you hide your respect
but i know it’s there
tell me…
why is my life such a mess
you’re in the middle of it so soon
i can clean up but not down
so, you have a new position
but i’m still just a party clown
my tears aren’t made up
but i am not sure about the frown
your family is a rock
mine’s just a sponge,
one that’s gone soft
you know i came to find you
without knowing who you really were
but now i am here
i’m even more sure
