The Right To Be Angry – Written Monday 11th February 2002 (Aged 26)

The Right To Be Angry

it is me who has the right to be angry
not yourself,
friends who you thought were tall
suddenly are not friends at all
they look quite small
it hurts,
and it feels kind of cruel
if you are wonder why it suddenly changed
think about the argument we had
think about your denials
then think about how you behaved
it is me who has the right to be angry
not yourself,
i did not criticise you over something you said
that you later denied
yet of course turned out to be true
i should be angry
but i didn’t turn my venom on you
