Self Belief
self belief
is wasted on others
it’s best to lie in bed
and express your thoughts to one another
self belief
is the last boat home
from a land that time forgot
from a feeling truly alone
self belief
does not pay the fare
just to get you home
it does not appear to care
at least it lets you roam
i have filled up buckets
with my self belief
i have felt wave after wave
but it’s always, just one step from a grave
