Gave You Some Keys

we trusted you
gave you some keys
came back,
with tales of jealously
we trusted you
and spent some time with you
then we had to be gone
you had to question the length
that it wasn’t too long
we asked you,
to step into our lives
you ignore our requests
to which we found no surprise
we trusted you
gave you some keys
but look what you’ve done to us
look what you’ve done to me
