Time Has Moulded Us
time has moulded us
it has made us older
perhaps more –
than the sum of our years
where once we would run
now sometimes –
we have to stay still
but i never forget –
how we feel
and i take strength –
from knowing –
that we still have a bond
something have come –
and some things have gone
but i feel alive
knowing it carries on
we are older
and time has moulded us
but i draw strength
from knowing there is still us
