Holding Each Other In The Morning
holding each other in the morning
in that half sleep
as the darkness retreats
it’s perhaps the most pure moment –
that i have
that moment of absolute closeness
just holding onto each other
before the anger of the day –
wakes up and has its vocal say
before fate gets ready and holds sway
holding each other in the morning
