Nothing Left To Say – Written Monday 13th February 2006 (Aged 30)

Nothing Left To Say

there is nothing left to say
or even feel
because on this riverbank
there is no will
every opportunity has been squandered
we look on now with indifference
your problems on show
there is nothing left for me
i know i bounded in with naivety
and i upturned someone’s life
but there was a deeper reality
one i should have felt
and on this riverbank,
there is a barge floating downstream
a possession of all the hope
and a possession of all the dreams
there is nothing left to say
