Telling People Who I Am
Telling people who i am
telling them things i have said
living a lie,
rolling around in the mud of obsession
telling nasty fibs
words spill from the mouth
and there is no bib
not one that will catch them
telling people that we have talked
when there has never been a discussion
we haven’t even walked –
down the different roads of our lives
telling people who i am
when in fact, i remain here
