Emotion Maturity
emotionally mature people
do not cry,
when confronted
with simple truths
emotionally mature people
do not shrink,
when under the spotlight
they do not pretend –
it is them who has been wronged
as if that is a way to avoid the issue
emotionally mature people
do not behave like this
children, young children
learning right from wrong
they behave like this
but not as a grown adult
emotional maturity
that is the true nature
the true nature of somebodies character
