Feel For Them
i do feel for those –
who struggle day in and day out
with someone who has expectational needs
pulled to their knees
with unheard screams
and desperate pleas
as the many trample over them
drinking greedily from the well of kindness
but always afflicted by blindness
and sheer bloody mindedness
i feel for those –
and not those who do not hold responsibility
badly behaved and out of control
in such a rage,
so quickly the children get their labels
it runs through some families like a plague
i do feel for those –
for the whom the hill never ends
for those whose realities are never heard
for whom life does not feel like a friend
