I Did Not Let It Pass By
there are some regrets
women,
whose names i tragically forget
there are special memories
that have become rooms to let
and there are mistakes
but there are things,
which have made me proud
there are moments of laughter
and things that made me cry
but one thing i do know
is that life did not and has not passed me by
i joined in and i took part
i took on the adventures
even when they took my heart
from happiness working in london
to depression by the seaside
i can look back with satisfaction
life, it did not pass me by
i put in and i took out
i grew and i matured
even when i used to scream and shout
i did not let and have not let life pass me by
i made sure i was outside
even when i was stuck inside
there are so many things to remember
but i did not and have not let life pass me by
