Winner

today i feel like a winner
today i feel i am on top
you cannot stop me now
there is no way i’m going to stop
i saw the sun today
and yet it was cloudy outside
but the shone still
and it’s the way i feel
today i feel like a winner
an angel brought in from the cold
today i am a believer
i’m a living giving person
not the bad person i normally i make out to be
today i am a winner
today at least, i am me
and it’s the best thing to be
but so often, that is the hardest thing to be
