Laminated Glass (Watching It Crack)
i am watching my mind crack
I am watching my mind crack
like laminated glass.
The spider webs of madness
spread quick and fast.
I am watching you slowly
fall down some stairs;
no one is taking any notice,
but it doesn’t mean they don’t care —
it just means you hide your pain well,
it just means you suffer in silence;
no one hears you yell.
I’m missing my favourite person.
I am on a strange road;
it’s a hard lesson.
My favourite times are some way back;
I know the best is yet to come —
I just can’t let my mind crack.
When I am at a low ebb,
get unstuck from my madness
that spreads like a spider web.
