Silence and Pills
a prisoner of fear
anxiety,
trauma and paranoia
lost in a sea of tears
with heart which reads –
‘to let’
when the mental collapse came
they gave her tablets
don’t we need support?
not silence and pills
and when i came along
those labels came thick and fast
