Vault – Written June 2008 (Aged 33)

Vault

she seems blessed
nothing is her fault
there is no jump
which she cannot vault
her net curtains,
are whiter than the neighbours
she has the superior perception
and she appears to be a saviour
her marriage is the best,
she is cleverer than us
in fact all the rest
and she never tires of telling the world
her greatness will not expire
she seems blessed
never having to take responsibility
able to bend the rules
and live outside of reality

James Garratt – June 2008
