This Is Where I Should Be

it feels to me
this is where i should be
if feels like
this is what i need
holding you
is the feeling
that leaves me reeling
and my hope,
always screaming
it feels to me
that it’s a culmination –
of all the best bits to be
it feels like
that summer has finally arrives
catch my fires
for you burn brightly inside
