Burned So Brightly
i found a lightbulb
buried deep in my psyche
shone like a beacon,
burned so brightly
i was caught once,
in a net,
one that covered my feet
i was the last to know
and the last to find a beat
i found shockwaves,
buried deep in my hope
resonated with a shape
whispered like the smoke
