Uprising
Outrage -
Stalks across my view,
But,
I sit back,
And I think of a solo view.
Not much -
Ever seems to change.
Power does corrupt,
And it never changes lane.
Outrage -
It never appears to wane.
So I take myself away,
And construct a different frame.
Lost here,
People search for something,
But right now,
They just find inconvenient truths.
Truths,
With a basis in fact,
But with a blanket approach,
Where absolute truth,
Becomes something that we all lack.
Outrage,
But I am not that angry,
Just,
I find it all slightly surprising.
After all, it is just distraction,
Pulling us away from an actual uprising.
