Safe and Sound
The insecurity is tangible
when a person is defending an empire ill-deserved —
because power,
power will be preserved.
It is the power that people enjoy,
because the mistake made
is believing that if you have power,
then you will have the control you crave.
But that is a falsehood.
That will not be the case.
You will not be able to control
all the things you want to.
And I see —
I see that.
I see that desire to control.
But chaos,
chaos always rules.
At least, events happen without knowing.
And that is why I understand the desire to control.
But as people drill down,
they will find the answers
do not lie in the ground.
There is no control.
There is no control.
And there is no way to find
a personal safe and sound.
