Magpie
Magpie feelings,
lost in your own space,
zebra crossing
goes to waste.
Flying higher,
catch the drops of time,
it’s never reusable,
and do you know what?
That’s fine,
but this world
always treads a line.
Magpie feelings,
lost in your own space.
We waste our age
as it passes
across our tongues.
Time, though,
was different
when we were young.
Playing lower,
catching bumpy ground,
rollercoaster feelings
and feeling spaced out.
Magpie feelings,
that’s what it’s all about.
