we need to be honest
we need to accept our complications
the things that make us –
many people in different situations

it is all these emotions
all these thoughts in my brain
the belief that we are close
to being insane

someone held me
and felt my chest
another flew away
to a new nest

you can go forwards
someone else goes back
you can defend
someone else attacks

well,
it is where i have been
taking a pinch a salt
like the cat that got the cream

she is just playing pinball
as we always suspected
there is a candidate for our heart
but they will never elected

and i wonder –
how many platforms
you could stand on
even, what if you are late
and the train has already gone

you have made dreams
out of lemonade bottles
and milk bottle tops
but on the opening night –
i felt like a flop
