Paper Mache Dreams
i have let my –
paper mache dreams,
crumble
into the darkness
and the dreamers’ sea
i have learnt to like me
away from the –
self loathing
which,
never really works
the world –
would rather,
that,
you hate yourself
so it can sell
pointless products
and convince you,
you need to be somebody else
i will not be bought,
unless you can find
my paper mache dreams
and all this filthy greed,
really,
needs to come clean
this is the year,
where,
we know –
where you have been
i am pushing you away
like you do –
when love crushes you
and splits you thoughts
