Something Amazing in my Life

i cannot let go,
now you have come back into my life.
times for me are strange,
a life I once knew,
well, I let it go,
just like i let go of his love as a child.

my old life,
well, I released that back into the wild.
i am blessed with you,
blessed when you touch me,

i feel feelings flow through me,
it seeps into my bones,
and when you are not here,
i truly understand the meaning of alone.

i cannot let go,
now you are back in my life,
well, we have been here before,
and it is true, we were much younger once,
but I swear to you,
that you make all this worthwhile.
and if you want, I will protect and love you,
with all I have,
just carry on being your amazing self.

that stunning voice,
that stirs every emotion I have.
say goodbye to my old life,
and for the future, i cannot help but feel glad
