when you close the door
the thoughts free fall
parachute from your mind
you have to be your own best friend
there are names to find
the telephone may ring
but those minutes and hours
who knows what they will bring
when you close the door
sharing has a bearing
that is for sure
but when you are out on your own
the thoughts escape
and start to roam
you have to look after yourself
