dragged myself away last night
away from your warm bed
away from the closeness of you
the cosiness and warmth of you
and the fantastic views
dragged myself back here
with its hanging atmosphere
and its unwelcome leer
thought of you back there
lying alone in bed
and i wrestled with all the thoughts
that vied for attention in my head
dragged myself away last night.
