I Called You

i called you
because I needed you
needed your hold
but your voice
and your conversation
told me that you would decide
exactly when – 
i would be allowed inside
and when I needed you the most
what I needed decided to hide
i learnt a lesson –
that I had tried to ignore
and though it hurt
i let it go.
