i have been thinking
about you…

i wish you would believe
riding this steed
across life

sometimes it is hard to believe
and the nights
sometimes the warmth just leaves
and the whiskey on the table
should not entice

i have been thinking
about you…

i wish I knew what to say
how to straighten it out
riding this steed
i wonder what it is all about
can be so hard to believe 
drowning as we often do
in our own need
