you tell me
how cheap and low
he makes you feel
you tell everyone else
how wonderful he is
he only wants you
his ego is an animal
that’s gone totally wild
you have a sweetness
but you are just a child
i wonder if he knows
i wonder if he knows

he abuses you
you accept without a fight
if you had the confidence
you would find that light
you would reach for skies
and scale dizzy heights
should I pass on
the words you sent me?
should I expose the liar?
or let you both cuddle up
in your selfish mire
do not keep telling me
just how sad you are
seeking my affection
you tell the rest of the world
that you love his direction
maybe you need self esteem
he plays on your affection
