Exhaustion of the Mental State

no job
or place of work
no role
or probationary test
can match
the stress
of being me
the pure mental exhaustion
sees work
as a welcome distraction
from being me,
and,
all that i manage in myself
from places
of primary bomb damage
work may be hard
or plagued with doubt
doused in stress
or amongst industrial fallout
but none of proves as hard
as being me
the exhaustion of the mental state
is often an everyday reality
