Occasionally

i only forget to see
occasionally
occasionally i become detached
and i have to get a lift home
sometimes it does not serve me too well

my memory
but things that do matter
i only forget occasionally
i will probably never realise all that is
of the potential in me
no matter how much time i spend exploring

the inner self
that needs cleaning
always there, those dark things
that i wish i could forget more
but they still haunt me
i cannot forget those and when i do
it is only ever occasionally, unfortunately
