some people
would rather sit down
they are tired
and the modern life
feels poorly wired
standing up,
and speaking out
what to do when life choices
have stolen your shout
what to do,
when the alcohol rubs,
rubs the wrong way
what to do,
when hopes and dreams drift off
when,
the next day seems hopelessly lost
i say,
never lose your voice
never lose your belief
never not want to speak
