Moments are Precious

final moments
meeting up
their voice
encased in memory
one that
never flies
caught by the waves
and the rustling trees
accept death
the hardest caress

meeting up
and exchanging words
that will
never be enough
over time
the rope becomes loose
however, still wraps tight
and cooks your goose
final moments
phone calls
and still something
it remains so difficult
