Cash

it all comes down to cash
people with eyes an envious green
try to increase their stash
no matter where it has been
money is everything
cannot do this or that
if someone is not getting a cut of something
it seems nothing is as important
money, is everything
you sit around trying to keep your head clear
you are struggling, but trying to be honest
someone is boasting about, how much a year
i am pretty lucky,
i rarely smell the sweet smell of money
what i mean is, i never sacrifice much
just for myself
i am not that easily bribed
i wouldn’t have thought anyone was
not anyone who has a little something inside
