Flying Solo

i have always felt free
in the mind, it has always being me
i have always flown solo
nesting and a mate
will, no doubt come
but it can easily wait
it does not have to happen when i am young
i am still flying solo
still here on my own
people believe in a relationship culture
but i feel its cover has been blown
i have always felt detached
the door has always been open
not born in a barn but definitely on the latch
i have always flown solo
with the flight path unknown
never really had one place to go
that is just the way i have flown
i have always felt free
no need for desperate security
i have always flown solo
that is just me
