Chapters Can Start Slowly

chapters can start slowly
and,
sometimes,
you are drawn in immediately

words,
shift the worlds with a jar
but stick with the story
and you will go far

i just need to move on
look back and smile
i need the last of the romantics,
if only for a while

and whilst others clamour,
as if being in love,
is an end,
really it is a beginning
and in reality it is about friends
chapters can start slowly
