It Is No Surprise

It is no surprise
that you just walk away
an emotional assassin
who loves to kill
but have they,
have they forgot to feel
i asked them what,
what they wanted
and what,
what they were looking for
love and a secure future…
i placed my mind
in a place so skeptical
that it was hard to find
i wonder,
i wonder if they know
just how strange,
how strange they look
you can keep on travelling
you can write that book
i hope someday
you find someone to take a look
