People Make Moves

people make moves
and they fool no one
all they want to be –
is someone
they charge down –
the human flanks
then they sit there
and wonder why there is no thanks
i hear talking
and i see –
words being formed
i hear sentences constructed
but are the sentences –
and the words actually there?
i have nothing to prove
just have to show that i can
that for those that matter
i can be there
i move in and out –
of personal shadows
like life all twisted and bent
some people reel you in –
some people keep you at arms length
