my life has been remarkable
in so many ways
let me think of the days
the experience melting
like the candle wax
in the barrows of my mind
my life has been remarkable
like all of us, living our time
my world,
becomes worlds
as my universe unfolds
my life has been remarkable
in its ordinariness
extraordinary,
in its everyday-ness
life is stunning
but often i have been stunned
i thought i was old
when i barely knew being young
my life has been remarkable
