Tinderbox

i have to let someone go
well, they let me go…
how much i really feel
well, they will never know
to explain would be,
an impossible feat
i think my words
just made them feel cheap

i have to let someone go
well, they let me go…
someone, who for me
is such a part
someone who had the tinderbox
and relit the spark
it is not as close as it was
and i guess it never can
i wonder if she will ever realise
and truly understand
