Picture Book

i have been reading –
my picture books
reading,
what the pictures never told me
they told me about –
the childhood i slowly forgot
as i get older,
or is that just old?
that depends on how i feel
i looked at comics
i could not really recall
the times i spent reading
when i was small
then it all came back
like a delayed train
it was there all the time
inside my mind and inside my brain
